First stop, the Angel Oak
Did you know that this tree, located on John's Island is between 500- 1500 years old? It's the oldest living thing East of the Mississippi. The shade provided by this tree is approx. 17,000 square feet.
My husband opening his birthday presents..
Then, my husband decided it would be a good idea to tell Jaydyn she could feed the turtles Cheez-its..
He looks so innocent doesn't he...
We (Cham & I) decided to make a sand castle to remind us of our younger years. I would like to say that Jaydyn helped but poor thing didn't know much about sand castles so the blood, sweat, and tears was poured by the adults.
Although this castle is rather large, I wouldn't expect it to win castle of the year.. but you would have thought by the amount of compliments we received that the tooth fairy made an appearance and was dancing with crabs. Every family wanted to take a picture of their children and 'the castle'. Love it!
Then we took a few family photo's..
We had a wonderful, relaxing, fabulous babymoon!
