Our first trip..

as a family with a newborn to the beautiful city of Nashville, Tennessee

My biggest fear... Lula Mae crying in the car the whole way.  Instead, she slept so it was peaceful silence for us!

This past weekend we went to Nashville and stayed with some of our wonderful friends, Rand & Russell Thomas who had just moved into their new house!

Isn't is beautiful?

Then we just relaxed and enjoyed Lula Mae...

On Saturday, we went riding around and I got to catch a few pictures of where Cham's grandfather, the origional Chambless Rand Johnston, used to live.

Cham's grandfather called his house 'Glimps of Glory' & if you saw it you would see why. It is absolutely beautiful!

This was part of the back. I was begging Cham to drive up the driveway but he wouldn't.  Senator Frist lives here now and Cham said I would probably get arrested.  I couldn't help but laugh about the entire thing!

This was part of the entrance. I LOVED the iron work!

This rock wall lined the property.

On Saturday we also enjoyed lunch & dinner with Cham's dad & family.

On Saturday night Lula Mae had a photo shoot. I snapped all of these back to back on my phone in about a 10 second span!

Then it was time to say goodbye!

We had such a great first trip with Lula Mae! We can't wait to do it again!!!

Nursery fit for a Princess named Lula Mae

I've been dying to share Lula Mae's nursery with everyone! Although it took longer than expected, it's finally finished... well almost. I'm still adding details here and there.

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoy decorating it.

These four walls will hold so many memories for us!

Meet Ms. Lula Mae

Isn't that the most precious face you have ever seen?

Being a mom is more than I could have ever imagined!
You're the apple of my eye!
Lula Mae has stolen our hearts!
Cham and I are so blessed!
